Croatian company Rimac Automobili unveiled its new all-electric air car called Nevera. A car that looks set to become a serious contender for the second generation of the developing Tesla Roadster model due to its astonishing performance
The car, which is based on the C_Two concept model, is powered by four electric motors with a total power of 1888 hp and 2360 Nm of torque. The Nevera electric motors, which are driven by all four wheels, have brought incredible performance to this car. So that the acceleration from zero to one hundred of this electric supercar is mentioned according to Remac only and the acceleration from zero to 300 is 973 seconds. This is while the maximum speed of this car according to the manufacturer claims before 415 is 1.85 seconds, its acceleration from zero to 160 is 3.4 seconds per kilometer per hour.
In addition, the Nevera has a maximum range of 550 km with a 120 kWh battery. Interestingly, this battery has a charging power of 500 kW and if you use a suitable charging source. It gains about 80% of its power in just 19 minutes
Remac engineers also used a Permbo brake system with 390 mm diameter crane-ceramic discs with six-piston calipers, which is hidden behind the Albasi and forged rims of the car, to balance Nevera’s amazing performance.
In addition, the new Remac electric car is equipped with a braking force recovery system, which according to the company has the highest rate of recovery of braking system power among all electric cars in the world.
Designed by Remac and used for the first time in the C_Two concept model, this system transfers the energy obtained to the battery while slowing down, allowing more energy to be transferred over a longer period of time. Remac engineers also used the battery as a structural member, which it claims They add 37% more stiffness to the Nevera carbon fiber monocoque chassis. Even Remac mentions it as the rigidest car structure ever built.
Like many snowmobiles, the Nevera battery is located at the bottom of the car and between its two axles. Thus, by distributing 48% and 52% of the weight between the front and rear axles, it has greatly helped to increase the agility and improve the handling of this car. Remac four-wheel torque vector system has also played a special role in improving the traction and increasing the adhesion of car tires to the road surface.
This technology works instead of conventional traction and stability control systems and controls the amount of torque sent to each wheel according to the parameters related to seven different driving modes separately. These seven modes are Sport, Drift, Comfort, Range, Track, two custom modes, each of which includes special settings related to the accelerator pedal, brakes, suspension and torque transmission to achieve the best driving quality. Remak Nevera to 12 ultrasonic sensors, Equipped with 13 cameras, six radars and an NVIDIA Pegasus operating system that put all these components together Makes relevant. In fact, with the help of this set, the car analyzes your driving performance and offers suggestions for improving the situation.
The interior of the car is divided into two separate parts and several technologies are used in it. Including three driver-adjustable TFT displays. The infotainment system along with other controls and driving information displays are also embedded in the lower half of the dashboard. According to the pre-determined plan, the production of the Nevera model, whose base price starts from 2 million Puro, will be limited to 150 units.
